Martin Currie’s Due Diligence team is part of a dynamic function within a boutique equity house responsible for client and prospect communications. Specifically, the completion of high-quality prospect and client questionnaires including RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs. The team also maintains consultant databases and the Qvidian content library. We are looking for a motivated team player who demonstrates strong planning and organisational skills. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the completion of a variety of questionnaires whilst developing strong knowledge and understanding of Martin Currie’s structure, strategies, vehicles and distinct advantages, for an initial 12 month period. What are the ongoing responsibilities of an RFP/DDQ Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract? RFPs/DDQs/Questionnaires Respond to strategic and complex proposals and due diligence questionnaires to a high standard, leading kick-off meetings and project managing the RFP to completion. Co-ordinate quarterly and annual client due diligence updates, collaborating with parent firm DDQ teams on intermediary and retail questionnaires. Manage and develop effective relationships with stakeholders and SMEs across the business, with the aim of creating and maintaining the highest quality RFP responses. Assist in the qualification of RFPs to ensure Martin Currie’s products, services and capabilities are aligned to the stated requirements in the RFP request. Use data skills to compile quantitative responses from multiple sources and create robust back-up from internal systems and spreadsheets. Peer reviews colleagues’ outputs to ensure consistency and accuracy. Consultant Databases Assist with the maintenance of consultant databases including monthly and quarterly quantitative updates and periodic qualitative reviews. Content Library Ensure that major updates to content library entries are promptly undertaken after the completion of RFPs and DDQs. Lead content creation and maintenance for sections of the Qvidian content library, covering the equity asset class and firm topics when required. Conduct regular and ad hoc content reviews, including analyzing, editing, and proofreading content in accordance with review schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency with product marketing initiatives, investment strategy team input. Other responsibilities Participation in initiatives aimed at enhancing and developing the due diligence process. Ensure you are aware of, comply with and are an advocate and role model for all MC Legal, Regulatory, Governance, Risk and Compliance obligations including understanding your personal responsibilities, obligations, record keeping and behaviours at all times. What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful? Education Degree level preferred IMC qualified or equivalent preferred Technical skills and experience This role would be particularly suited to an individual with previous RFP experience in the investment management industry. Effective deadline management skills with the capacity to handle several questionnaires simultaneously. Excellent analytical abilities and careful attention to detail in both quantitative and qualitative tasks. Proficient problem-solving, written, and visual communication skills.
