Job summary West Basildon PCN has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and innovative pharmacy technician to join our primary care network, on a full-time basis for 37.5 hours per week, and you will be required to travel between all of the GP practices within our PCN. You will benefit from this opportunity to build up strong working relationships, across our organisation, and will be actively involved in how their role evolves over time. Main duties of the job Developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe, effective and efficient prescribing within the PCN. Supporting the reception and administration teams, at our member practices, with complex medication queries. Supporting the GP partners on prescribing projects and cost/safety audits and actions. Be confident in analysing and presenting information to health professionals. Have experience of implementing and promoting cost-effective strategies.
