ACP (Advanced Clinical Practitioner) We are seeking skilled Emergency Practitioners to join an NHS-managed, GP-led Out of Hours (OOH) service covering Oxfordshire. This service supports patients in Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs), at their homes, and via telephone triage. As demand increases, the service expands its team of emergency practitioners. As an autonomous Emergency Practitioner, you will provide high-quality minor injury and illness services to patients attending the UTC. You'll be supported by a team of Nurses and GPs and may also take on a leadership role, supervising and developing Band 6 Nurses and student ENPs. Role: Advanced Clinical Practitioner Location: Oxford Day: £48 Night: £52 Saturday: £52 Sunday: £58Shift Patterns: Mainly weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts Some weekday availabilityKey Responsibilities: Assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses in a fast-paced OOH setting Work autonomously to deliver safe, effective care Supervise and guide junior staff and students as needed Provide leadership and support within the clinical team Conduct home visits and telephone triage when required Complete accurate patient documentation using AdastraRequirements (Medical and Nursing): NMC/HCPC registration V300 Independent Prescriber qualification Minor Injury and Minor Illness Level 7 certifications Experience managing minor injuries and illnesses, including paediatrics Proficiency in using Adastra software (Adastra training will be provided) A valid driver's licence for mobile shifts (insurance coverage required) Enhanced DBS check Evidence of up-to-date mandatory trainingDesirable Skills: X-ray competencies Suturing experience Palliative care experience Catheterisation skills (Male & Female)ACP (Advanced Clinical Practitioner)
