We are recruiting a Senior Quality Assurance Officer - Vendor Assurance. Ethypharm is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Quality Assurance Officer - Vendor Assurance. The role holder will be responsible for providing day-to day assistance with the management and development of the Vendor Assurance Program established within Ethypharm UK. Day-to-day responsibilities Preparation and maintenance of the Vendor schedule Preparation and maintenance of Vendor Quality/Technical agreements for suppliers where these documents are required. Communicating with vendors and arranging for the completion, return and assessment of questionnaires or the provision of other supplier intelligence e.g. TSE/BSE, GMP Certificates Applies the principles of continuous improvement by identifying and actioning improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibility Preparation and maintenance of Supply Chain Maps Assessing supplier changes Liaising with internal departments in particular NPD, Procurement, Regulatory and Quality to determine future needs e.g. new manufacturers and update the vendor schedule/prepare documentation accordingly. Support the Ethypharm UK self-inspection program Exhibits Ethypharm's core values of Teamwork, Excellence, Demanding & Caring, Entrepreneurship & Commitment in all activities Skills/Experience Essential Educated to degree level (in appropriate science related subject) or equivalent is preferred Experience working in a Pharmaceutical Quality environment / in a manufacturing environment (previous background maybe in production, engineering, validation or other discipline) Clean driving licence Good understanding of EU regulatory guidelines related to GMP and Vendor activities (Orange guide) Desirable Previous experience of regulatory authority inspections Auditing Experience Lean sigma trained Lead auditor trained About you You are an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in GMP and vendor assurance within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold the highest quality standards. With a proactive mindset and strong analytical skills, you're comfortable managing audits, reviewing technical documentation, and driving continuous improvement in supplier quality performance.
