Job Title: Project Engineer
Role Overview:
You will manage technical responsibilities for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works across the UK. Your role will be predominantly office-based with frequent site visits, where you'll coordinate materials, equipment, and documentation, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the engineering, planning & execution of site works inclusive of mechanical & electrical installations, servicing and commissioning, ensuring correct equipment, tooling and materials are available to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality installations of the internal product on-site.
* Provide direct liaison to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a clear plan and leveraging support from stakeholders where required to deliver outcomes.
* Liaise with any other area of the business as is necessary to organise and attend 'ready for site' sessions, conducting desktop site works rehearsals and ensuring thorough preparation.
* Produce & oversee fulfilment of works Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits to Work, Toolbox Talks, COSHH assessments and safe working procedures, ensuring the health and safety of personnel for the working activity.
* Undertake site audits/visits, producing and submitting any required site reports and overseeing standards of workmanship & professionalism for internal systems and installations.
* Help the organisation continuously improve and undertake developments in the Site Services function, inclusive of developing process & procedures and being a key stakeholder in digitisation opportunities.
About You:
* Relevant project engineering experience within a customer-based or customer focused environment delivering technical installation & commissioning work scopes.
* Technical background in Mechanical & Electrical installation, as an installer and/or engineer.
* Experience with systems of work such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Toolbox Talks and Permits to Work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* HNC or above in relevant technical discipline. This may be substituted for significant, demonstrable working experience.
* City & Guilds/NVQ in relevant technical discipline
