Role Summary
You will be accountable for looking after our claims across multiple classes of business and you will be handling claims internationally. If you have some claims experience and are seeking a new challenge this would be an excellent role for you to grow and develop.
Role Accountabilities
* Handling a portfolio of international Claims within authority.
* Dealing with referrals on claims within the authority.
* Liaising with capacity providers and updating them on claims developments, as well as assisting in the preparation and delivery of the monthly claims report.
* Liaising with the Outwards Reinsurance team, ensuring that they are aware of developments on significant claims that may impact reinsurances.
* Building and maintaining the company's profile with Claims Brokers and key external experts.
* Preparing and/or reviewing the initial setup of claims entries.
* Assisting the claims team with the preparation and analysis of MI.
* Assisting the Head of Claims in monitoring the performance of the claims management outsourcing service provider.
* Regular contact with brokers, actuaries, and senior claims specialists.
* Any additional duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
* International London Market Claims Adjusting experience
* Experience in Accident & Health and/or Marine, Aviation and, Construction Claims (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent relationship-building and communication, both oral and written.
* Must be able to self-lead and work effectively both independently and with team.
