Operations Manager Serviced Accommodation Bristol Up to £40,000 DOE Company Overview Hatched Talent Solutions is the recruitment partner for a well-established serviced accommodation provider offering furnished holiday lets and short-term rental management services for landlords across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Originally founded in 2018, the company has expanded to managing over 40 apartments and houses. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of the serviced accommodation portfolio and business operations. The role is based in Horfield, which will be your regular place of work. Objective: To achieve company revenue and performance targets by ensuring the successful delivery of services, maintaining high-quality operational standards, and leading the team effectively. You will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service through proactive communication, reporting, and financial compliance. Key Results: Achieve sales revenue, gross and net profit targets Ensure high client satisfaction ratings Maintain quality standards across all properties Provide accurate, real-time operational performance reporting Ensure timely collection and payment of invoices Maintain a stable cash flow position Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure the efficient management of the business Manage and support office staff on a day-to-day basis Develop, review, and implement company policies and procedures Conduct property inspections as necessary Lead and coordinate maintenance and cleaning contractors, ensuring service quality and prompt issue resolution Manage the full accounting process using Xero, including bookkeeping, liaising with accountants, and overseeing financial transactions Maintain an understanding of the companys financial position, including invoicing and bill payments Ensure compliance with all legal and government regulations Provide weekend cover for emergency responses and guest support (1 in 3 weekends) Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and industry standards Report directly to senior management on operational performance and improvements Travel to different locations as required to oversee properties and resolve operational issues Manage new projects and client onboarding processes Act as the first point of contact for external stakeholders, handling escalations appropriately Oversee and review financial reports for clients Maintain strong relationships with existing clients Ensure timely responses to quote requests What You Need to Succeed: Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure Hospitality experience is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven experience in operations management Demonstrated experience in people management and quality assurance Ability to manage multiple services with competing priorities Experience maintaining accurate records and information systems Proficiency in bookkeeping software (preferably Xero) Strong IT skills with up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively within teams Experience implementing new working practices, systems, or procedures Understanding of contractor and contract management Full UK driving license with access to transportation Whats on offer: Up to £40,000 pa DOE 20 days annual leave plus BH Pension Discounted property services Progression plan
