As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be a technical business partner to an ePlus Senior Account Executive, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
* Technical Expertise & Support: Provide technical expertise and consultative support to the sales team and customers.
* Trusted Advisor: Build credibility and trusted advisor status by understanding customer needs and making relevant technical recommendations.
* Account Planning: Assist the sales team with overall account planning.
* Solution Architecture: Develop and finalize solution architecture/design, detailed configurations, and bills of materials (BOMs).
* Proposals & Presentations: Create and present solution proposals and recommendations.
* Architectural Vision: Demonstrate architectural vision to various organizational levels.
* Business Outcomes: Develop and communicate business outcomes through written proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
* Technical Scoping: Lead technical scoping and reviews for SOW generation, planning, and designing complex multi-vendor solutions.
* Network Diagrams & Specs: Provide detailed network diagrams, power specifications, cable needs, as-built, and rack elevations as needed.
* Customer Satisfaction: Assist the sales team with customer satisfaction issues during solution deployment.
* Post-Sales Support: Support post-sales activities, including internal/external kickoff meetings and lessons learned.
* Training & Certification: Complete training and maintain certifications as per the development plan.
* Pipeline Review: Review current pipeline and forecast potential revenue, win probability, and completion dates weekly.
* Engagement: Participate in ePlus events/activities with customers, vendors, and partners.
* Team Collaboration: Engage in team meetings and work with regional and area teams to develop standardized processes.
* Customer First: Always prioritize the customer.

Expertise Required
* Consultation & Design:Expert knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
o Networking, Infrastructure, and SASE Architecture
o Public and Private Cloud Architecture
o Cloud Networking and Security
o Premise and Cloud-based Collaboration platforms
o Storage/Compute/Virtualization
* Industry Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Network Platforms, Services, and Architecture, including:
o Traditional Cisco premise network architecture and design
o Next-Gen Mobility infrastructure applications and services
o Network Segmentation, Automation, and Software Defined Networking
o Secure Access Service Edge service models
o Identity Services, Authentication, and Compliance technologies
o Enterprise Agreements and Licensing
Education and Experience
* Experience:
o 4+ years as a presales solution architect/engineer or equivalent work experience.
o 6+ years in network engineering and data center engineering, architecture, and design.
o 10+ years in client-side senior roles, technology integrators, or manufacturers.
* Certifications: Expert level industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCDE, JNCIE, PNCSE, RHCE, MCSE, CISSP, etc.).
Salary:
* Base $170,000 +
