The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to join our team in Runcorn. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of HR administrative processes, including payroll data, employee records, and departmental reporting. Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will play a key role in supporting employees and maintaining accurate HR documentation. This role will be reporting to Human Resources Business Partner.
Main responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries at the Runcorn site.
* Manage the company absence line, update absence trackers, collect sick notes, and ensure return-to-work documentation is completed.
* Oversee HR processes for starters and leavers, including updating HR trackers, HRIS (UKG Pro), processing pre-employment checks, and ensuring timely payroll updates.
* Maintain accurate records for all employee life cycle processes, including probation reviews, appraisals, inductions, and holiday tracking.
* Administer and maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation in both digital and paper-based formats.
* Manage the mandatory training process by issuing weekly updates, reminders, and tracking completion.
* Ensure all employee changes, including starters and leavers, are accurately recorded for payroll processing.
* Support the HR Business Partner with ad-hoc HR projects and tasks as required.

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG Pro preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Effective communication skills to liaise with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
* A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
