SEMH & INCLUSION COACH/HLTA Grade 4 £25,183 - £28,624 FTE (£21,853 - £24,839 Actual Salary) Term-time only plus one week 37 hours per week (part-time hours considered) Based at Meadow Park School, Abbey Road, Coventry CV3 4BD An exciting opportunity has arisen at Meadow Park School for a motivated and flexible individual to join our SEND & Inclusion Team, which is a key part of our provision to support young people in school. The role will provide an opportunity to work closely with a range of students and abilities, to ensure students achieve their full potential. You will contribute to improving outcomes for students by providing support, guidance and supervision, across the range of the four broad areas of need. You will support the SENCO by providing care and supervision to young people including those who have additional physical, emotional and educational needs. You will mentor students and teach small groups, establishing productive working relationships, acting as a role model and setting high expectations to help students through a formative stage of their education. You will support students through working in a variety of settings from 1:1 to small group work, including supporting students in the classroom setting and work collaboratively with teachers, families and external agencies to ensure students excel. You will assist the teacher or SENCO in liaising with other professionals and families, contributing to meetings to discuss a specific child's progress as appropriate. You will track and monitor student’s progress within interventions and report to the SENCO. You will contribute to the work of the school in raising standards of attainment, improving attendance, reducing exclusions and promoting good standards of behaviour.
