Location: Gateshead (20 mile patch)
Are you an electrically biased Engineer with a background in lifting equipment or heavy machinery looking for an engaging new role with excellent progression, training and potential earnings?
This company is spread over two sites with ambitious expansion plans within the next 18 months. Working on a variety of overhead cranes and lifting equipment through various industries, they offer a varied line of work with progression and development at the heart of the company.
The Role:
1. Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers' overhead cranes and lifting equipment through a variety of industries
2. Troubleshoot, fault-find and solve a multitude of electrical and mechanical challenges
3. Ensure health and safety is strictly enforced and adhered to
4. Working a local patch
5. Mon - Fri 8.00am - 4.30pm
6. Weekend Overtime
The Person:
1. Proven experience in a similar role
2. Experience as an Electrical Engineer within heavy machinery
The Training:
1. Radio control
2. IPAF
3. Forklift certifications
4. Harness and working at heights
5. Basic slinging
