Job title: Construction Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £80,000 Depending on experience
Location: Whitehaven
Hours of work: 38 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Experience dealing with sub-contractors
- Experience enabling works projects
- Experience carrying out project trials
- Highly regulated industry experience - substations, electrical, utilities, pharmaceutical, nuclear or defence
- CDM 2015 regulations experience
- Experience working on multi-million pound projects (£100million and up)
- NVQ lvl 6 or degree qualified
- SMSTS, CSCS Black Card
Role information:
- Direct and manage all construction management aspects and sub-contractor scope
- Define works scopes
- Manage the preparation of project deliverables
- Assist in the preparation of execution plans for construction activities
- Carry out audits and review of construction and site activities
- Ensure compliance with work specifications and legislations
- Ensure health and safety legislation and procedures are adhered to
