Role Summary
The Cancer Multidisciplinary Coordinator (MDTc) plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of cancer services by coordinating and managing the administrative processes of multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. This includes ensuring accurate patient data is recorded, tracking cancer pathways to meet national targets, and facilitating communication between clinicians, administrative teams, and patients.
About the Role
As a Cancer Multidisciplinary Coordinator (MDTc), you play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care by ensuring the efficient coordination of multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and tracking patient pathways. Acting as a key liaison between clinical teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders, the MDTc helps to facilitate timely decision-making and treatment planning for cancer patients.
Responsibilities include:
* MDT meetings
* Managing patient data
* Ensuring compliance with National Cancer Targets
* Maintaining clear communication between departments
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. By ensuring adherence to established processes and supporting clinical teams, you contribute directly to improving patient outcomes and the smooth operation of cancer services.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday. This is a full-time role working hours per week Monday to Friday. Please note, this role may require flexibility, including working patterns that involve meetings before and after standard 9-5 office hours.
