The Role Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee multiple construction sites across Fife and Perth. This role involves managing civil and utilities projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site operations, ensuring that all teams adhere to safety and quality standards, and mentoring operatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of all site activities. Coordinate site activities, ensuring resources (labour, materials, and equipment) are available and allocated efficiently. Oversee site safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Manage site operatives, ensuring tasks are completed according to safety protocols and quality standards. Provide mentorship and training to operatives, fostering a positive work environment. Monitor work to ensure compliance with required quality standards and specification Procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and avoiding delays due to resource shortage Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site issues, liaising between the project team, clients, and suppliers Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and challenges Quickly resolve any issues that arise on-site, such as delays, material shortages, or safety concerns Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, reports, and meeting minutes. Essential Skills & Qualifications: A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree). Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality management systems. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to resolve issues efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
