As the Assistant Accountant, you will be a key member of the Finance Team supporting them in their day to day responsibilities such as month end, management accounts, preparing monthly journals, updating TM1, raising invoices, chasing debtors and balance sheet account reconciliations and some project accounting work where appropriate.
You will also assist in the preparation of monthly review meetings with key stakeholders.
You will have a strong interest to embark on a career in Finance and be looking for an opportunity to springboard your career. You ideally should be studying towards related finance qualification, AAT, CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent).
Whilst formal finance qualification is not required (we'll support you with that), it would be an advantage or an A Level in Maths or a Finance related subject. An appetite to learn and to grow your skill-set, with the support of your team, is absolutely critical. You must be highly proficient in MS Excel with proven relevant experience in a financial/accounting/manufacturing environment.

A good practical/working understanding of ERP systems (ideally Oracle), TM1 experience, Magnitude would be an advantage.
