The Role They are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the Engineering Department. This is a key role within the organization, responsible for managing a team of engineers and designers, overseeing technical projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative energy solutions. You will be instrumental in driving technical excellence, improving design processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering design team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output. Oversee the development of mechanical and electrical design solutions for on-site power generation and energy storage projects. Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications. Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and clients to ensure seamless project execution. Develop and implement design standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and professional development support to team members. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation within the engineering department. Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within design processes. Skills & Experience Required Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline. Extensive experience in engineering design management, preferably within the power generation or energy sector. Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
