PART TIME ACCOUNTS/ADMIN ASSISTANT
required.
1.Payroll Duties – To complete weekly/monthly payroll for clients. Produce employee and employer payslips, and RTI to HMRC. Liaise with clients to resolve queries and chase to meet deadlines. Pensions submissions to Pension providers.
2.Administration – Deal with clients on the phone/email. Answer queries and liaise with colleagues. Setting up new clients on database, recording tasks and scheduling deadlines on our software.
3.Chasing clients for info required for Accounts and Tax Return deadlines via phone, email, and text.
4.Bookkeeping & VAT. Bookkeeping using software and spreadsheet to log invoices/expenses, and simple VAT returns. Resolving queries with clients and colleagues.
5.Tax Return production. Producing and inputting simple tax returns and accounts for sole traders/landlords. Obtaining approval and sign off for submission to HMRC.
6.Updating HMRC portal for approvals.
7.Filing/photocopying/ general office
duties.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
1. AAT Level 1-2 OR QBE
2. Experience of the systems TaxCalc, QB, payroll
3. Positive will do attitude
4. Confident telephone manner and communcation skills

2.Part time working hours 9:30 till 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday but flexibility required to cover workloads.
3. Access to training courses provided by the TaxAssist support centre.
4. Office based role in our Leicester office on Uppingham Road LE5 0QG.
