We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed and well qualified Teacher of Music to join the Creative and Performing Arts Faculty at Saint Felix School.
The successful candidate should be able to teach Music across the whole age and ability range, Year 7 to Year 13. The post holder will be expected to take part in the future development of the subject both within the curriculum and the extra-curricular programme.
Music is a popular and highly valued subjects at both GCSE and A Level where students follow the Edexcel GCSE and in the Sixth Form, they have the opportunity to study the AQA A Level Music course.
Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged from 2 to 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. We are looking for a Music teacher who will be able to;
* Deliver exciting and inspiring Music lessons. The ideal candidate will have ability or potential to teach A Level and GCSE
* Actively support the co-curricular programme at Saint Felix.
* Work with pupils of all ability and encourage pupils to develop and reach their potential in Music
This position would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for their first teaching position. As a smaller school with a community culture, you will soon appreciate the warmth and sense of friendliness that embodies the institution.
