Main Purpose of the role:
To provide accounting and administrative support to the finance team.
The Role & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide accounting and administrative support to the finance team. Duties include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Preparation of annual departmental budgets
* Quarterly departmental forecasting
* Raising individual bank payments & BACS runs
* Inputting monthly journal transactions
* Assistance with the purchase and sales ledgers and cash book reconciliations as required
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting in the provision of audit evidence
* General administration for the finance team
* Any other duties as and when instructed by the Finance Director
Technical Skills:
* 2 years + management accountant experience
* Part qualified CIMA (any other relevant qualification)
* Able to deal with colleagues of all levels of seniority
* Enquiring mind and confident personality
* Excellent Excel skills
