We have an exciting opportunity to join our Core Payments Technology Team as a Payments Technology Project Manager. This is a very exciting time for the Payments Technology Team as we transform how we operate and our technical landscape to meet evolving customer expectations and industry changes. You will shape and lead deliveries, working closely with the Payments Centre of Excellence and key suppliers such as PagoNxt, in order to make a real difference to our business. You will provide extensive leadership skills combined with ingenuity and drive to deliver quality solutions. The difference you'll make: Being responsible for delivering E2E technology changes required to support Payments E2E journeys within Santander UK Maintaining complex stakeholder relationships - including Payments Centre of Excellence, Architecture, PagoNxt and others to successfully drive the project to completion Leading the successful delivery of complex Payments change projects within the bank including managing dependencies across suppliers and other areas of the Bank Managing governance deliverables, including impact assessments, implementation plans and RAID log Leading teams as required to ensure projects are dealt with on schedule and to budget in alignment with project goals What you'll bring: These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role: Broad technology delivery experience with an understanding key technologies from mainframe to cloud, and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall Experience managing coaching and developing teams Ability and experience of collaborating and managing dependencies across complex organisations Experience working with key suppliers and managing budgets It would also be nice for you to have: An understanding of end-to-end payments flows applicable to the UK market (such as Faster Payments, ICS, BACS, Swift, CHAPS) or of Open Banking Experience with procurement and third-party management processes A high-level understanding of ISO20022 and end to end payment journey implications of using this Ability to collect, analyse and condense complex information and summarise What else you need to know: This permanent role is based in Unity Place - Milton Keynes. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
