We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher with the following qualities:
* Drive and creative flair to support teachers to deliver challenging lessons.
* Ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning and play, including having a good knowledge of how to make learning active and practical.
* Collaborative professional with the ability to contribute to provision planning, using their initiative to engage children and adapt planning on the spot.
* Good team player; able to build strong relationships with all those working within the class team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, along with energy and enthusiasm.
* Good communication skills with children, families and staff.

Key Responsibilities Will Be:
* To assume the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead within the school.
* To lead on the monitoring, progress and achievement of the school’s aims and objectives, reporting to the Headteacher and Governors.
* To support and promote the school’s ethos, aims and core values to promote the welfare, progress and continued development of the school and its children.
* Ensure compliance around the quality of teaching and learning, including the analysis of performance data where appropriate.
* To ensure school policies are translated into practice.
* Manage staff and resources to that end.
* To manage and oversee the effective transition of pupils between year groups.
* To be an outstanding role model across the school in terms of leading, teaching, behaviour and classroom management.
* To lead on school residentials.
