Position: Housing Mechanical and Electrical Manager
Location: Waverley Court
Salary: £52,373 - £62,685
Hours: 36 per week
The City of Edinburgh Council has declared a Housing Emergency and wants to ensure everyone has a secure, safe, warm place to call home, with access to services and a culture that supports individuals and communities to thrive.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to deliver a high-quality, front-line operational repair service to local residents. You will lead from the front to drive performance and embed a customer-focused culture within the service which has the needs of our tenants at its heart. You will contribute to and champion service development and continuous improvement with your team and support their learning and development.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Educated to Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical and Engineering and/or MEng Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Degree.
2. NIC EIC 18th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations, BS7671:2018.
3. Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification - City and Guilds.
You should have an excellent knowledge and understanding of current regulations, legislation, and health and safety requirements in relation to electrical safety in social housing.
