About the Job
The Web Content Associate Manager is a new, additional role created as a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to aid the strategic delivery of the Digital Assessment Initiative.
The DPCP Digital Assessment Initiative (DPCPDAI) is one of the IB’s key strategic transformation projects focused on transitioning the high-stakes, summative examinations of the Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) from paper-based to digital format. To execute the work, the DPCPDAI is organized by four workstreams—Systems & Integration, School Readiness and Support, Assessment Research Design & Development and Assessment Operations —and led by a core, cross-functional team.
The Web Content Associate Manager is accountable for ensuring that the Web/UI content of the DPCP Digital Assessment Initiative (DPCPDAI) and associated documentation and communications, including training and support components, is well-structured, easy to navigate, is contextually accurate, contains consistent and standardised terminology which conforms to IB style sheets and meets the needs of its users.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Management: Management of all UI web content across DPCPDAI application to include Onscreen instructional text, Page heading titles, Section headings, System feedback messages (success messages), Client-side validation messages, Server-side validation plus Messages and notifications. Plan and coordinate translation of all DPCDAI content into the required languages (mainly French and Spanish, others as specifically required). Ensure all content for internal and external training, support and communications materials is in alignment with system text and new terminology.
* Communications: Ensure communications and messaging to be consistent, correctly positioned, reflect specific purposes and conform to project communications plans. Collaborate with colleagues on communications, messaging etc. to internal and external users of DPCPDAI and advise as required.
* Training and Support: Collaborate with appropriate colleagues and teams on the delivery of content for all training and support materials required for DPCPDAI. Ensure Assessment training and support materials are planned and integrated into the overall DPCPDAI plan. Ensure Assessment Training and support materials are created and delivered (in English and translated as required) in collaboration with colleagues in appropriate channels.
* Supporting the Management of Representative Teams: Management of representative teams during the process of content translation to ensure all new content translation is accurate, aligns to project timelines and meets business needs. Ensure MEP colleagues are guided and supported during the content translation cycles, the linguists are supported so translations are complete according to the outlined plan and to ensure content is translated accurately.
About You
* Experience in web content management and writing with experience of working on a large scale project.
* Skilled in writing and editing, with spelling and grammar and the ability to adapt to house styles.
* Able to oversee large projects and coordinate the work of others if necessary. Comfortable planning workload to meet tight project deadlines and working across multiple streams of the project at the same time.
* Able to communicate across a variety of media and at all levels and utilise interpersonal skills to develop internal relationships and earn a Trusted Client Advisory relationship with Subject Matter Experts.
* Able to research, collate and summarise information from different sources.
* Logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to spot patterns, gaps and repetitions in web content.
