SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you a compassionate and committed SEN teaching assistant looking for your next challenge? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? If so, this exciting opportunity in a thriving Hertfordshire secondary school could be the perfect fit for you.
We are seeking a passionate SEN teaching assistant to join a well-resourced, inclusive school that caters to students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The school has a strong reputation for supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. As a SEN teaching assistant, you’ll work one-on-one and in small groups to provide tailored academic and emotional support. Your role will be vital in helping students develop confidence, communication, and independence. You’ll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver engaging, personalised support strategies.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience as a SEN teaching assistant or in a similar support role
• Patience, resilience, and a caring nature
• A strong understanding of SEN and inclusive practices
• A team player who is passionate about helping young people succeed
Whether you're an experienced SEN teaching assistant or just starting out in education, we want to hear from you!
