Role Overview The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals for partitioning projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability. The successful candidate will contribute to high-profile projects and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic working environment. Key Responsibilities Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for materials, labor, and time requirements. Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Collaborating with sales, design, and project teams to develop compelling proposals. Monitoring market trends, material costs, and competitor pricing to maintain competitiveness. Supporting the development of value engineering solutions to optimize project costs. Maintaining detailed records of all estimates and proposals. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an Estimator role within the construction or fit-out industry, with knowledge of partitioning systems being a distinct advantage. They will possess strong numerical and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. Skills & Experience Proven experience in estimating for construction or fit-out projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Qualifications A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
