Title: Manufacturing Digitalization Manager

We are now looking for a Manufacturing Digitalization Manager to join our Operations: Manufacturing Team, working from Monday to Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for leading digitalization initiatives across manufacturing sites within the EMEA region, covering Manufacturing EMEA and Manufacturing Fiber Essentials. This role is focused on advancing manufacturing practices, data security, and compliance while supporting digital transformation at both strategic and operational levels.
In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Driving Digital Transformation: Leading digitalization efforts to enhance manufacturing methods, optimize practices, and facilitate data collection and analysis across site processes.
2. Data Security & Compliance: Ensuring data security, availability, and adherence to regulatory and corporate compliance requirements across the manufacturing network.
3. Project Management: Managing key multi-site digitalization projects within the EMEA geographic scope, coordinating project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
4. Execution Roadmap: Developing and maintaining an execution roadmap for digitalization initiatives, aligning with organizational goals and site needs.
5. Vendor Coordination: Overseeing and coordinating third-party resources and IT vendors involved in digital services, covering both project-based and ongoing support needs.
6. Strategic Advisory: Providing digitalization-related guidance to E&T leadership and Kemira Technology Development, influencing technology roadmaps and innovation strategies.
7. Best Practices & Standards: Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of requirements, standards, and industry best practices to guide digitalization efforts.
8. Site Support: Acting as a subject matter expert, supporting individual sites with specific digitalization needs and inquiries related to the role’s area of expertise.
9. IT Collaboration: Liaising with and taking guidance from IT subject matter experts to ensure alignment with IT policies, architectures, and best practices.
What you’ll bring to the team:
1. Excellent understanding of digital transformation in manufacturing processes, with experience in data services, IT operations, or related fields.
2. Proficiency in data management tools and project management methodologies with the ability to track and incorporate rapid development of external requirements (e.g., data security, reporting) to own area of work.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize data processes.
4. Experience of asset development and continuous improvement methodologies. Proven record in driving operational efficiency initiatives.
5. Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies for digital transformation aligned with business needs.
6. At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience consisting of a mix of strategic and operational roles in relevant industries and functions.
7. Seasoned in leveraging data and analytics to drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making.
8. Ability to navigate cultural differences and work effectively in a global setup.
9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Working proficiency in English mandatory.
10. Degree in Engineering, data services, IT operations, or related fields (other degree levels can be considered provided equivalent competence is demonstrated).
