Salford's Wheelchair Service provides equipment to support the mobility needs of people of all ages and with a range of diagnoses. The service is dynamic and motivated to excel in the area of posture and mobility. The therapists within the service hold responsibility for assessment and provision to the highly complex cases within the service. The post involves supervision of staff and support of fieldwork education placements. The post also gives the opportunity for involvement in service development.

You will work as a member of Salford Wheelchair Service under the direct and indirect supervision of the Band 7Clinical Lead.
The post will involve direct patient care in relation to provision of highly specialist intervention using evidence based, client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate.
You will be required to be highly motivated and able to motivate others, and be expected to work flexibly and respond to service requirements and be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
