Description
BDO are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our highly successful and expanding BDO Eaton Square Consulting Department as part of our exciting growth plans. The successful Project Manager will be involved in multiple projects, multiple clients and even cross platform at times, focusing on 3 core areas:
* HCM/HRIS & Payroll projects - we are market leading HCM Implementation Partners with clients in Ireland, UK, Europe and beyond.
* CRM & Business Transformation projects with our Management Consulting team.
This role will provide the PM with huge experience and exposure to new clients, industries, systems, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure successful management of SaaS HCM, Payroll & D-Commerce projects - delivered on time, on budget, to quality and scope.
* Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
* Track and report the project progress to PM governance and management.
* Ensure our best practices and client standard approaches are adhered to.
* Manage the full project implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, UAT and live running.
* Develop & manage a detailed project plan to monitor and rigorously track progress.
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including RAID logs.
* Manage project budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery.
* Coordinate multiple project teams working across multiple projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
* 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline or 3+ years’ experience.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, PMO or equivalent relevant experience.
* Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
* Ability to work collaboratively with and through others and with clients.
Advantageous to Have:
* Project Management Certification (PRINCE2, PMP, etc).
* Experience as HCM Project Manager.
* Experience with HCM platforms - CoreHR, Dayforce, UKG, Workday, Hibob.
* Payroll project experience / solid understanding of payroll operations.
* Global payroll experience.
* Experience working on technology projects (SaaS preferred).
* Experience as HCM implementation consultant.
