Maintenance Team Member - Burton upon Trent Maintenance Team Member - Bedroom Specialist Location : Based at Hoar Cross Hall. Salary : 26,780 per annum The Role: Do you have a track record for providing high quality maintenance projects and an eye for detail? As part of our maintenance team, you will play an integral role in the general maintenance of our bedrooms within our Grade II listed building helping to provide the perfect experience for our guests. The purpose of the job is to complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) duties within the bedrooms of the hotel. This involves working from a provided PPM jobsheet and ensuring all tasks are completed as required. Bedroom area: Ensure all lights are functional, inspect the condition and repair furniture and wardrobes, inspect paintwork, check functionality of all bedroom facilities including telephone, television, sockets etc. Windows and Doors: Check for damage and degradation, ensure all secure and operational. Bathroom: Ensure lighting and extract fans are functional, check sanitary wear and silicone, toilet fittings, sink and bath drains, and shower screens are functional. Ensure all health and safety checks are completed and documented. Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs. Ensure all public areas are kept clean and tidy while completing jobs. Personal Specification: Essentials Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Further Information: 42 hours per week. The role will involve shift work working 4 days on and 4 days off. 8am - 8pm with a 1-hour break period.
