Overview
Responsibilities
* Own the Europe in-house agency operation and develop strategy for its transformation and expansion into the future.
* Lead the full Europe operation to deliver higher quality and lower cost output vs external agency model. Balancing permanent and freelancer resourcing to effectively deliver against business goals.
* Overal accountability for in-house teams, continually adjusting and optimizing the model and ways of working to drive effectiveness and increased value.
* Secure resourcing from Europe Sector eComm marketing, Audience Insights, Digital data & product manager teams to stretch the team's output to create full connected experiences.
* Through strong partnership with the ECD, inspire and broadcast 'best-in-class' work with sector CoEs.
* Serves as critical member of the Europe Marketing leadership team to define and drive the resources and expansion required to compete and win in a fast paced, culture driven ecosystem.
* Own unit value case and EVP.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of in House Agency experience, preferably in operation roles.
* 12+ years of experience in marketing, connections or digital marketing roles overall, preferably in FMCG companies.
* Experience in managing marketing across multiple media channels and platforms (media & martech).
* Ability to nurture and support our creative leadership and managing a diverse team of experts.
* Strong analytical skills - able to establish relevant KPIs & commercial goals.
* Excellent collaboration skills - this is a cross functional role connecting S&B and the wider marketing organisations.
* Solid project leadership skills - ability to co-ordinate several diverse stakeholders / and to manage performance of external suppliers.
* Aptitude to learn fast, to absorb and integrate new facts and methodologies into normal operating process.
* Effective communication skills - accurately identifies the role of different stakeholders & tailors communication messages & style.
* Challenge & Influencing Skills - experienced & effective at influencing and challenging senior internal stakeholders and agencies.
* Strong presentation skills - comfortable presenting internally / externally to all levels.
* Genuine, in possession of humility, honesty and integrity.
