You will be a part of our multi-disciplinary and enthusiastic team to provide a variety of care to up to 64 veterans including holistic services, dementia care, general nursing and residential needs at our recently rebuilt state-of-the-art site in Salford, Greater Manchester.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) to support our Director of Care in the management of our care and clinical team and overseeing all operational and clinical aspects of the home.
* Hours – shifts: 07.00 - 19.30. Week 1 Mon,Tues,Sat,Sun and week 2 Weds,Thurs,Fri. On-call support required.
* Provide management and inspiring leadership for the entire care and clinical team (including medication management, supervisions, competences, CPDs, etc) as well as the day-to-day operational running of the home.
* Provides accurate recording systems and organisational documents.
* Oversee the development and implementation of the clinical & care duty rota.
* Support the Director of Care in delivering the CQC requirements of a safe, caring, responsive, effective well-led service.
* To provide assessments of prospective service users as well as advanced care planning appropriate to the changing needs of service users.
* Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of the Care Inspectorate and its requirements.
About you
* Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a deputy or clinical lead in a care home.
* Relevant nursing qualification and UK NMC PIN (required).
* Safeguarding, MCA and DoLs training and experience.
* The candidate is required to have previous experience in the nursing home setting and strong clinical knowledge.
* Must be passionate about delivering quality care.
* Competent IT skills and willingness to learn new software.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to provide quality care under pressure.
* Effective time management skills.
* Ability to work independently following verbal or written instructions.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
