About the Company:\n\nAxon Moore are delighted to be working with a growing, PE backed business, to appoint an experienced, part-qualified Management Accountant. The business is thriving in a sector that’s flourishing and they are now looking forward impressive growth, trebling in size over the next few years!\n \nReporting into the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the month-end reporting across multiple entities, ensuring that ledgers are accurately updated and year end can be delivered to deadline. There will be some business partnering elements to the role, to ensure that each department has guidance and accurate information around spends and budgeting.
\n\nSalary & Benefits: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE. Study support, 25 days holidays plus banks, flexible working hours, pension, employee discounts, private medical, plus other benefits available on request.\n\n What we are looking for you to do/key responsibilities:\n\nProduce the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis for multiple entities.\nBusiness partnering as the go to person for various departments, with communication and collaboration at the forefront.\nLiaise with budget holders to ensure budgets are set and forecasting is accurate.\nMaintain the balance sheet, performing reconciliations for various entities and the group including fixed assets, intercompany and WIP.\nMonth end journals, accruals and prepayments.\nMonthly consolidation for reporting to group company.\nVAT returns as well as assisting with tax queries around corporation tax and CIS.\nLiaise with external auditors on annual audit and year end, addressing any queries in a timely manner and providing information in full.\nContinuous improvement of the finance function, looking at any inefficiencies and making improvements to systems.\nAd-hoc analysis and duties as required.\nProfessional qualification and competencies:\n\nPreferably 2+ years’ experience in an SME and a similar management accounting role.\nCIMA/ACCA part qualified.\nBusiness partnering experience (beneficial).\nExperience with audit preparation and assisting with preparing draft accounts\nSolid knowledge of the workings of a Finance team, including best practice and working to strict deadlines.\nA high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nEnthusiastic attitude to resolving issues, working collaboratively and independently.\nFor more information, please contact Harriett Busby at Axon Moore
