Capital One - UK is seeking a talented Business Continuity and Resilience Risk Manager to lead our team in the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational resilience and business continuity across our organisation, ensuring we are well-prepared to support our customers and associates in the face of unexpected events.
About the Role
In this key position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective business continuity and resilience strategies, working closely with our senior leadership team and stakeholders across the UK and US. You will leverage your expertise in risk management, business continuity, and operational resilience to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring our business remains resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
Your primary objectives will include leading our UK Business Continuity team, reviewing and evolving our assessment and testing processes, driving engagement and understanding of business continuity across our organisation, and partnering with technology teams and third-party vendors to design and implement appropriate business continuity plans.
You will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance related to operational resilience and contributing to the development of training programs to embed business continuity practices throughout our organisation.
Requirements
* Proven experience in successfully running business continuity programs, including disaster recovery and related testing
* Knowledge of operational resilience regulations and embedding them into business processes
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation
* People leadership experience, with the ability to grow and develop a team
