Electrical Field Engineer (Commercial/Industrial)
Location: Hybrid between our manufacturing site in Stoke-on-Trent and on-site at UK based client locations
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, flexible shifts usually between 7am – 7pm (with potential for some out of hours cover/site requirements)
Experience Level: A high level of electrical competency with a focus on commercial/industrial systems, experience in a similar role is desirable
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pa depending on experience and qualification level
Driving Licence: A full driving license is required as a pool vehicle is provided for site visits.
About GivEnergy Commercial:
GivEnergy Commercial are seeking an Electrical Field Engineer who will be responsible for the full delivery process of our energy storage solutions (building, testing, maintenance, installation and repair). You will be a key point of contact providing an excellent level of customer service to our end users and installers to ensure minimal downtime and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting RMA process including stock management.
* Identification and resolution of potential issues with equipment both on and off site.
* On-site training to new and existing installers or distributors.
* Installation, commissioning and maintenance of our energy storage solutions.
* Fabrication of containerised systems to client specification (including supporting with painting, wiring, welding and joinery).
* Pre-sales site surveys of potential commercial installation sites.
* Ownership and liaison with 3rd party suppliers/manufacturers/contractors.
* Liaison between the different departments within the business to develop new and current products.
What We're Looking For:
* Good level of commercial/industrial electrician experience (essential)
* Core electrical qualification is required (such as NVQ L3, degree or equivalent)
* Holder of a CSCS/ECA card.
* Full UK (or equivalent) driving license.
* 18th Edition (desirable not essential)
* Happy to travel, with potential for overnight stays and night/weekend work due to nature of sites (e.g. hospital/supermarkets etc.)
* Ability to work effectively to defined deadlines and timescales.
* Efficient planning and organisation capability.
* Outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written.
* Interest in problem solving and issue identification.
