A Manufacturing Engineer is required to join a large innovative manufacturing company that specialises in Composite Materials for aircraft structures and components. The Manufacturing Engineer position will entail working closely with an established project team, to help support the development of the project from development through to rate production. The Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities - Work closely with Project Team to maintain consistency - Continue and drive the rate of production across the project - Lead and Facilitate complex problem solving methods and identify relevant solutions - Create and implement Manufacturing action plans - Rectify localised and systematic process breakdowns in a timely manner - Support the design process and implement continuous improvement methods - Analyse new composite manufacturing processes - Review current processes, in order to identify risk and implement improvement plans - Develop and support project wide process manufacturing documentation - Support production activities, including preparation of Manufacturing Planning\'s - Review Test Procedures, Manufacturing Procedures, and Quality Planning Control Plans - Support on - going Test Analysis - Assist in the development and facilitation of Process FMEA\'s - Maintain risk management policies and programs - Support the design change management process - Reviewing and approve engineering orders and drawings for technical requirements - Support Critical Design Reviews CDR and process adherence - Report results from product and process to engineering and senior management - Encourage design and industrialisation team\'s for manufacturability and quality The Manufacturing Engineer will be expected to have a very good level of Education and a good level of experience with Problem Solving Techniques such as 8D, 5 Whys and with a Continuous Improvement mentality.
