This is an opportunity for an experienced Causation File Handler to step up and provide support to a Team Leader or group of Team Leaders in the day to day running of the Causation teams within the Counter-Fraud Department. This is an ideal stepping stone for someone wanting to progress their career further and gain invaluable experience in a supervisory role. What will you be doing? As the Causation Champion, you will be assisting the Team Leader with day-to-day tasks within an appointed team, dealing with a reduced case load of files and supervising other File Handlers as and when required. Ensuring that clients are confident that their legal affairs are dealt with in a business-like and competent manner, with a clear focus on always delivering high-quality service to guarantee the efficient operation of the team. You will effectively monitor workload in compliance with service standards within the Counter-Fraud Department and provide a point of contact for senior management, as well as the below duties: Maintain a (reduced) personal caseload in order to maintain an expert status through handling of live cases to demonstrate these capabilities. Undertake file reviews and supervise File Handlers to ensure effective case management and the production of high-quality work Oversee technical supervision requirements and act as a "go to" senior team member, ensuring accurate decision making, compliance of supervision procedures, contractual requirements and high quality of technical performance Refer supervision as required for Team Leader input where the subject matter of supervision is beyond the candidate’s knowledge or would otherwise benefit from Team Leader review. Assist with the management of service delivery to allocated clients ensuring consistent and effective response times, escalation processes and delivery of SLA's Ensure that all necessary training needs are identified through supervision and quality control and to highlight any performance concerns to a Team Leader Promote employee engagement and mental and physical well-being, providing team members with support where necessary. Be alive to changes in behaviour which may be an indication that support is required. Assist in the production of statistics concerning the teams for any internal or external audits/tender documentation Ensure that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards Assist with the training and development of new/existing team members To provide cover and support across teams as and when required Comply with HF’s practices and procedures What do I need? The ideal candidate will have proven experience in handling files, investigations and claims within RTA, Motor or Causation with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. You will need to demonstrate your ability to manage, tutor and develop people whilst enhancing the technical skills of those more junior team members, escalating any area of concern to Team Leaders or senior management (Associates or Partners) immediately.
