We’re looking for a Clinical Lead to provide expert leadership within our Public Health Nursing Service in Tower Hamlets. In this role, you’ll oversee the implementation and delivery of high-quality public health programmes (Healthy Child Programme, sexual health, substance misuse etc) and interventions, ensuring children and young people receive the care, guidance, and support they need to thrive.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of community nursing, leading on service quality, safeguarding, and clinical governance while ensuring staff receive the supervision and training they need to excel. About You
You are an experienced healthcare professional, ready to take on a role that makes a real impact. You thrive in a dynamic environment, where you can influence change, support teams, and drive high-quality service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
1. A Registered Nurse qualification with a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification.
2. At least three years’ experience working in a community health setting with children, young people, and families.
3. Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve the best outcomes.
4. A strong background in safeguarding and child protection, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with relevant legislation.
5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, to engage with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
6. A proactive, values-led & solution-focused mindset, with the ability to lead on service improvements and adapt to changing needs.
7. Experience using data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive meaningful change.
8. The ability to travel across Tower Hamlets to provide leadership and support across different service locations.
A management or leadership qualification, along with experience in project leadership & service user engagement, would be an advantage but is not essential.
