This permanent position will primarily be to provide support, administration and maintenance of global applications i.e. CRM, building towards a future proof model to enable and support business success.
Candidate to be an integral part of the Global Enterprise Application Specialist Team (EAST), responsible for release management and 2nd and 3rd line support, according to ITIL recommended practices.
Role
The role is broadly responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM), user-support, including guidance and advice as well as the release of 3rd party and in-house solutions.
The post holder will be specifically responsible for, among other things, the following:
1. Learning about Office 365 (o365) and its suite of products i.e. Teams, Planner and SharePoint.
2. Administration and Maintaining our existing platforms.
3. Working towards upgrades of CRM.
4. Responsible for logging and managing support calls and responding to calls escalated to Microsoft.
5. Ensuring applications are running and performance is monitored regularly using monitoring tools i.e. SCCM.
6. Resolving users’ issues or providing work-arounds.
7. Produce learning materials for support teams.
8. The post holder will work as part of the Enterprise Application Specialist Team and report to the Enterprise Application Specialist team leader. This team is part of Infrastructure and Architecture group in Digital Technology.
9. The post holder will liaise with a number of internal clients, committees, the Client Lead Team and Project Delivery Team teams as necessary.
Requirements and skills
1. Two years’ experience supporting and administration of applications, ideally CRM.
2. Windows Server experience, i.e. IIS.
3. General SQL knowledge would be desirable.
4. Familiar with support call logging software (Service Now).
5. Stronger service management skills.
6. Familiar with Office o365 and its applications.
7. Willingness to learn from others, self-learn and bring fresh ideas to the team.
8. Strong analytical, problem solving abilities, working closely with Microsoft on solutions.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, utilised in giving demos, contributing to Yammer and communicating with users globally.
10. Understanding of Dev-Ops.
