Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary Schools (Wellingborough)

Salary: £89 - £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you passionate about working with secondary-aged students and ready to make a positive impact in their educational journey?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work full-time in secondary schools across Wellingborough. These positions are ideal for individuals with a strong background in SEN support who are confident working with pupils aged 11–16 who may present a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, speech and language challenges, and learning delays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to secondary students with SEN
* Assisting with the delivery of differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
* Encouraging engagement, independence, and emotional resilience
* Supporting pupils in managing behaviour and developing social skills
* Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
Essential Requirements:
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Proven experience working with SEN pupils at the secondary level
* Excellent communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills
* Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, during school hours)
