Webb Ellis Court is designed to maximise independence for people over the age of 55. This is achieved through person-centred and reablement focused personal care and a hub that engages with the local community. The development includes 63 one and two bedroom apartments, offering 24 hour support for customers should they need it, in addition to a range of interventions through our reablement and lead reablement workers. Typical day as our Registered Manager We will support you to lead, manage and govern your team, assuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while supporting them to grow and develop. You are naturally innovative and creative and will help your team to achieve and maintain the high standards our customers deserve, keeping to regulatory standards. You will ensure the competence of your team through a process of observation and assessment, coaching and directing as required. As a subject matter expert, you’ll develop and share your knowhow, continually supporting your team, making it a great place to work for your colleagues. As a safeguarding lead you’ll ensure the high performance and quality assurance of your services using your experience and skills to effectively motivate and direct your colleagues. You will be responsible for the oversight of the regulated activity delivered within Webb Ellis Court. You have a good understanding of relevant regulatory policies and procedures, including the fundamental standard regulations. You have loads of experience of partnership working, as well as having strong inter agency links within health and social care. You're used to embedding a culture of strong communication and reflective practice. In addition to that, you lead, encourage and deliver an open, fair, transparent, supportive and challenging culture at all levels. You support learning and innovation, as well as promoting an open and fair culture. It’s also important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and strong analytical skills too. Job details You will be service based working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. As the service delivers 24-hour care, there will be some amount of flexibility required to meet the needs of our customers and colleagues. On Call Shift payment of £14.30 per session We will need you to have an Enhanced DBS Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which we’ll pay for.
