You will work collaboratively with all services to ensure that all website content is accurate, relevant and up to date, as well as designing eye-catching webpage content. Being part of a small focused team, you will play a key role in how the Council improves its communication, customer engagement and online activities. The ideal candidate will have previous web content experience in a similar role, with excellent communications skills. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities (Please see Job Description and Person Specification for more details): Manage and update website content, including informative pages, and news items. Collaborate with other service areas responsible for their webpages, content creators, and designers to produce visually appealing and functional web pages. Monitor web traffic and performance analytics to improve engagement. Stay current with digital trends and best practices in web editing. Support the Corporate Communications team in creating content for digital platforms. What You’ll Need (Please see Job Description and Person Specification for more details): Excellent copywriting and editing skills – including writing content from scratch as well as translating existing print copy into online content, using plain English. Experience of creating and editing content to be clear and succinct for web and social media platforms. Experience of working with different IT systems. Experience of using web Content Management Systems to input and edit content.
