Christian Theology Teacher – York (January to August) We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian Theology Teacher to join a well-respected school in York from January to August. Key Responsibilities: Teach Christian Theology: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that inspire students to explore and deepen their understanding of Christian theology. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the Christian theology curriculum, ensuring it meets academic standards and reflects a strong theological foundation. Student Support: Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to students, fostering their personal growth and supporting their journey of faith. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Religious Education department to share best practices, resources, and ideas. Extra-curricular Activities: Participate in or lead relevant extra-curricular activities, such as theological discussions, study groups, or community service projects. Key Details: Position: Christian Theology Teacher Location: York Contract Duration: January to August Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Christian theology and the ability to teach across various key stages.
