Project Engineer - Pharma / Chemical / Sustainability / EFW / Energy Transition

What you will enjoy doing
1. You will manage projects that enable innovative supply solutions across the business including industrial gas solutions, hydrogen supply, decarbonisation & gas to future clean energy providers.
2. You will provide engineering support to sales to help win and deliver new projects.
3. You will ensure that project design/costs are competitive and solutions are practicable.
4. You will manage project timescales.
5. You will ensure that plant, equipment and systems comply with the requirements of statutory requirements and company standards, where required in conjunction with leading industry experts.
6. You will provide technical expertise in the preparation of standards to enable Projects management and improvement.
7. You will have opportunities to lead teams of multi-discipline engineers in preparing and designing solutions to complex process problems.
8. You will review detailed drawings of equipment and systems and equipment specifications.
9. You will prepare project documentation.
10. You will participate in the selection of equipment suppliers and contractors.
11. You will deliver classroom-based training (theoretical and practical) to plant operational and maintenance staff in normal system operation and diagnosis.
What makes you great
1. You have experience of working in technical roles in a process industry.
2. You have practical experience of working in an industrial environment such as water, steelworks, process industry, Oil & Gas.
3. You have Chartered Mechanical or Process Engineer status or are close to applying for Chartered status - We will provide mentoring support.
4. You are degree qualified in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering discipline.
5. You possess project management skills; APM PMQ preferred but can be provided.
6. You have knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation; a NEBOSH Diploma preferred but can be provided.
7. You can demonstrate a drive to deliver and continuously improve.
8. You have knowledge of the appropriate legislative and regulatory requirements associated with pressure systems, operational process plants and site construction.
9. You can demonstrate effective prioritisation during periods of competing demands.
10. You work effectively in a team environment.
11. You have knowledge of industry standards.
