The UK’s leading fencing contractor is seeking a Junior Bid Coordinator to join our dynamic Business Development Team at Littlewood Group. If you’re detail-oriented, have a background or degree in writing, are confident in communication, and eager to develop your skills in bid writing, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a respected and forward-thinking company.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Bid Coordinator, you’ll be a key player in our Bid Team. You’ll support the full lifecycle of bids and tenders, helping to create winning proposals by:
* Coordinating bid submissions across multiple tender opportunities
* Preparing and refining responses to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
* Liaising with key stakeholders across departments
* Collating and editing content to ensure clear, concise and persuasive submissions
* Managing a bid library and archive for future use
* Analysing feedback to improve future proposals
* Monitoring tender portals
* Supporting wider business initiatives where needed
Requirements
This role is ideal for a graduate or someone early in their career looking to gain hands-on experience in bids, marketing, research or proposal writing. You’ll be:
* A confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Highly organised with great time management
* Detail-oriented with a flair for writing and editing
* Tech-savvy and comfortable working with documents, templates, systems and portals.
* Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage your own workload
* Interested in design, layout and making proposals visually engaging
Previous bid writing experience is a bonus, but not essential – attitude and aptitude matter most.
