With the support of NHS England the NDC service is currently developing a new diagnostic ASD Adolescent assessment tool. The project will continue for another year to complete phase 2, which will include data analysis of the tool and working towards publication. The role of the Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) is to provide expert specialist practice and ensure the delivery of effective evidence based clinical practice. Under supervision, the NMP will lead the care of a complex case load of young people and provide an independent prescribing service for young people in line with Trust policy and supported through a Governance framework. Some Of The Key Duties Will Be To Work with a dynamic and inspirational non medical prescribing team. Hold responsibility for a caseload of Children and young people, offering independent prescribing and medication monitoring. Supporting the development of the ADHD treatment offer in the team Attending supervision with the NMP team and medic team Provide expert specialist practice and ensure the delivery of treatment is evidence based.
