Job Title: Hair and Beauty Lecturer (Temporary) Location: Scunthorpe Pay Rate: £25 to £35 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Role Overview: North Lyndsay College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Hair and Beauty Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will primarily teach Level 3 courses and will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Hair and Beauty, primarily at Level 3. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Support students in achieving their educational goals and career aspirations. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities. Qualifications and Requirements: Hold a relevant Beauty profession-related degree or equivalent qualification. Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one. Hold an Assessors Award. Minimum Level 2 Maths and English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
