I am looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a global leader of sensing products and systems for highly critical environments. You will be responsible for managing and delivering maintenance activities and coordination of calibration services. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and is a qualified electrician with relevant City and Guilds or HNC qualifications.

Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm

Maintenance Engineer Job Description
1. Work with colleagues across the business in the development and execution of maintenance activities.
2. Apply appropriate engineering principles, best practice, and know-how in the provision of engineering services and advice.
3. Ensure that safety risks and business risks associated with maintenance activities are assessed and that appropriate checks, controls, and precautions are taken in accordance with regulations such as PUWER and LOLER.
4. Carry out electrical wiring tasks and other electrical maintenance work as required.
5. Coordinate and monitor calibration processes, implementing data capture and traceability through asset management systems.
6. Ownership of the calibration processes, implementing data capture and traceability through asset management systems.
7. Liaise with and manage third-party companies to carry out calibration requirements.
Maintenance Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
1. Qualified electrician with relevant City & Guilds / HNC qualifications.
2. PUWER & LOLER knowledge and understanding.
3. Ability to coordinate and oversee third-party calibration services.
4. Previous experience in a similar role.
