Details
We are a small engineering consultancy specialising in fluid dynamics and are looking for a flexible software engineer to assist with a number of coding, programming, control system and IT network tasks.
Ideally, the position would be filled by a final year Computer Science (or similar) student hoping to gain industrial experience before entering full-time employment in 2025.
The company has in-house and commercial applications written in Visual Basic, Fortran and C++, and a successful applicant would be expected to have experience in applying programming knowledge to new languages.
An understanding of control logic and Siemens PLC programming would be beneficial. An interest in Mathematics and a working knowledge of network infrastructure management is also desirable.
The work would be varied and dynamic, and applicants should expect to undertake self-learning in addition to in-house training in order to progress tasks.
We will be conducting rolling interviews for this position.
