We are looking for experienced and committed Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our Service user
Our service user is a gentleman in his 40’s who lives in Accrington and requires support on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and night to support with his complex and clinical care needs.
He is a big fan of watching T.V, including a variety of programmes such as sports, soaps, and box sets, and enjoys listening to music through his Alexa. He loves to spend time with friends and his care team and quite often enjoys a takeaway.
A key aspect of this role involves assisting him to enjoy his hobbies, interests and accessing his favourite social activities, whilst providing care and companionship. He has a great sense of humour who loves a bit of banter and is looking for a like-minded person to join his team.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, making close observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. Should he awake, you will offer reassurance to promote a restful environment for our service user.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in managing challenging behaviours and will have a strong-willed approach.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:
1. 3 months previous care experience
2. Medication Administration
3. Personal Care
4. Moving and Handling
5. Managing challenging behaviours
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
6. Catheter Care
7. Parkinson's Experience
We have the following shifts available;
8. Full Time & Part Time Days available 2-3 shifts per week
9. 7am – 7pm
10. Part Time Nights 2 shifts per week
11. 7pm - 7am
12. Alternate Weekends are needed for this position

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168.00 per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £192.00 per 12-hour shift)
