Job Scope: We are looking to recruit a Children Registered Manager for our client, a well-established provider of residential care for children. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader with a deep understanding of safeguarding and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children. As a Children Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring it meets all regulatory standards while providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. You will lead and develop a team of care professionals, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with the homes values. The Children Registered Manager will be responsible for compliance with Ofsted regulations, ensuring the home maintains the highest standards of care. This includes implementing and reviewing care plans, working closely with external professionals, and ensuring the well-being of each child. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a compassionate approach are essential in this role. Do you have? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), providing the foundational knowledge and competencies for managing residential childcare settings. ? At least 2 years of experience in a senior management role within children's residential care, demonstrating the ability to oversee operations and lead teams effectively.? Experience working with children with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties, ensuring tailored support and interventions.? Strong understanding of child safeguarding practices and regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted standards and Childrens Homes regulations, to ensure compliance and the safety of children and young people.? Proven ability to manage and support a team, with excellent leadership and motivational skills to foster a positive and effective working environment.? Experience with budget management and financial planning, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and financial sustainability of the care setting.? First Aid qualification, equipping the candidate to respond promptly to medical emergencies within the residential setting.
